5.0 out of 5 stars Best brace I've used, July 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
It took a couple days to break-in but it's a terrific brace. A bit stronger support than the standard ASO (although not as much as I anticipated). The plastic inserts are flexible which surprised me (I was expecting hard plastic). The inserts can be easily removed and the brace can be worn without them. I would recommend this over the basic ASO because of this (if you need more support you have it but if not you can just remove the inserts and both cost about the same).

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ankle brace I've found yet, November 30, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I've tried a million and one braces - even a custom ordered one. Some were too bulky. Most didn't fit properly because of the shape of my leg and how tiny my ankles were. This is perfect. It's secure, my ankle feels better in it and it's thin enough that I can go back to wearing my regular shoes and sneakers. Definitely a great item. It does hurt a little if it rubs on your ankle bone so I have been using an ace bandage with it just to avoid that for a while but I've also bought thick socks and hopefully that will take care of that problem. Otherwise - amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars ASO ankle stabilizer w/plastic inserts, March 11, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
Provided me with great support about 4 weeks after a severely sprained ankle during softball. I wanted to get back to the outfield. This brace allowed me to still run the bases and chase down balls. Although it is a little bit harder to make sharp cuts wearing the brace. The plastic inserts are very soft, I would consider the inserts more of a barrier than actually providing more support. Worth the price of $30-35 to get me back to playing ball quicker.
