But one of the sellers had one for a single Andrew Jackson with shipping included. How could I pass that up?When the ball arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I had just sent back an 8" ADJ kit due to issues with the motor not shutting off, and this ball looks to be as good as that one. The mirror tiles are very small, (3/8ths inch square) and there are plenty of them. Obviously the more the merrier since the more tiles there are the more spots get thrown to the wall. They were also much more uniform than I expected from the other review. There is a small self locking nut, and a small cap nut on the end of the threaded dowel that runs through the ball, but I don't see an issue with it since it's so small that I can't imagine how it could be seen when hung on the ceiling. Green" had not written such a detailed review and posted additional pics, I probably would NOT have bought this brand/model disco ball. But after reading his review and closely viewing his pictures, I decided for the money I would pull the trigger on something Ive wanted for myself for decades.Once it arrived, which was a lot sooner then expected btw, I pulled it out of the box and was almost instantly pleased. I will agree some of the mirrors were not placed as uniformly as the imaginary disco ball in my head. I will also agree that the nut lock is a little unsightly. But in the end, once its hanging and lighting up your party, I can almost promise you not one person will complain or even notice. The other key motivator in buying this model was the weight. 7 lbs?!?! Take a look around, the famous name brand mirrored ball weighs literally 8X's as much and costs 3X's as much.
