I had no experience with parallettes before buying these, but I had looked into them for a while and decided to make the leap anyway and give them a shot, and I'm glad I did. Their construction is very sturdy, they are much more stable than they look in the picture and longer too! They're not too long though, as in they don't take up much space at all in a room. I was able to find some pdf files online that went described different workouts and exercises you could do with these, and you'll enjoy the extra length that these have because some exercises require it! I've always been big on doing dips at the gym but wanted more from so I invested in these! Overall they are great quality and it was money well spent!

These are my first pair of parallettes and I am please with my purchase so far. They are very solid in build and the braces are metal. Also, the parallettes have a little weight to them.

Parallettes are a great training aid for gymnastics and these are quite well made. I think there are better options out there though as I bought a different pair for my brother in Christmas or '10 and I found them to be slightly higher quality for less.
