1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid Coolmax, August 14, 2006

This sleep sack / travel sheet weighs almost nothing. That's because it is made of almost nothing. Imagine sleeping in a rather large nylon stocking. With this Coolmax material there cannot be a side opening - imagine what would happen if you cut a nylon stocking down the side. So climbing out of the sheet to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night requires unpeeling the travel sheet off of you. The fabric is so thin, that I'm not sure what it is even doing - except meeting a hostel's minimum requirements. Grungies from the covers would go right through the pourous mesh fabric. My suggestion: go with silk or cotton.

4.0 out of 5 stars I love this item for traveling, August 12, 2009

I use this product when traveling in several ways. I like to get into it when trying to sleep on a plane - it packs up so small that it easily fits in my carry-on, and is just enough to keep me feeling cozy when the airline keeps the plane too cold. I also use it when at a hostel and uncertain about the cleanliness. Yes, the fabric is thin, but it is not "porous".

2.0 out of 5 stars itchy Scratchy, August 6, 2011

I bought this, because I had to do a round of lupron, which is this drug that will make you sweat at night. The CoolMax is supposed to help keep you cool and wick away moisture. It does a slightly better job of that than a lightweight cotton sheet did, but the material is itchy and scratchy and uncomfortable, and if you use fabric softener on it, it won't work at all anymore. Save your money and get a silk sleep sack.
