4.0 out of 5 stars cool game, February 23, 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars

This game was very challenging when I first tried it, but it turns out to be a fun game. The main goal is to try to survive from being eaten by dinosaurs. You use gun turrets, grab ammo, and fight enormous dinosaurs like the Spinosaurus and T-rex. You must get through 14 levels. If you are a fan of dinosaurs and bloody violence, this is your type of game!

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent game If you can get it cheap, December 14, 2010

This review is from: Jurassic: The Hunted (Video Game)
This game is not a bad shooter, considering it was made to run well on the PS2. The action is kind of slow paced compared to other shooters like doom or half life (done deliberately to accomadate the PS2s processing power), but I am a big fan of shooters, and I like shooters that involve dinosaurs, so I found it enjoyable. The plot is pretty cheesy, involving a group of expeditionaries who crash land on an island that is undergoing some sort of time warp, transporting the island and it's inhabitants back to the Jurassic period. Your job is to make your way from the crash sight, past all the dinosaurs who want to eat you, to where a scientist, who has been on the island for a long time, has the key to escape. Not terribly engrossing, then again this is not a game that you play for the plot. The graphics are good, the weapon selection is standard for a first person shooter; running the gamet from pistols to shotguns to assault rifles, and there are some interesting scenarios, like... After many years of enjoying the Carnivores games
with decent graphics and interesting scenerios,
I expected a new game to be as good if not
better. While the graphics and premise are
good, there is only one level. I started
playing and in a couple of hours I was done!
Left me wanting more =(
